From Bethpage, NY, Angelo Sciortino is working toward a master's degree in finance at Penn State World Campus. Before graduate school, Angelo Sciortino was a member of Kappa Sigma, a fraternal social brotherhood, while attending the University of Albany.

One of the largest social fraternities, Kappa Sigma, announced that it was re-establishing its charter at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. Kappa Sigma has over 200,000 living members worldwide, with 17,000 undergraduates. In addition, the university has 300 chapters in the United States and Canada.

Before being established as the Tau-Chi charter, the fraternity began re-establishing its charter on April 7, 2022 and completed the process on May 6, 2023. As a part of re-establishing this chapter, 35 of its members committed to completing over 1,100 community service hours and donating $1,200 to charitable organizations.

They also completed a code of conduct and time management training, among other Kappa Sigma-related workshops. The Tau-Chi chapter also received assistance from its alumnus and volunteers in re-establishing Kappa Sigma at the university.

The chapter became active after being designated a colony in 2016. Please visit the fraternity's website at www.kappasigma.org/ for more information on this new charter or other Kappa Sigma installations.
